From cleaning and firing to saturating with a wax coating, throughout the entire production process we only work with natural products and processes.
After cleaning, we plane each plank individually and manually to create as even a support surface as possible. Then we dry and bake, which creates the specific hue and adds an artistic touch. Each plank is therefore unique and different in shape!
The planks are saturated and treated with a natural wax layer, so they are low-maintenance. The wax coating also ensures that you can serve hot snacks as well as cold ones. After use, clean with lukewarm water and a little soap. We make this wax entirely in-house based on pure beeswax and a composition of vegetable and essential oils, which also gives the wax an antibacterial effect. Simply rub the surface of the dry board with the wax, let it soak in for a while and then remove the excess product with a lint-free cloth.
